Multilayer ceramic capacitor, 100 nF, 50 V. Small size and high capacitance for the volume.
Ordinary ceramics do not belong in the signal path of hi-fi equipment: the value shifts with applied voltage and some of them are microphonic. In guitar amplifiers it is a different story — the ceramic is part of the sound of many classic circuits. X7R is a class 2 dielectric: it packs a lot of capacitance into a small package, but the value moves with applied voltage.
