CCCP 5C4M (5Ц4M) rectifier with the same base connection as 5Y3 / GZ34 / 5U4 series tubes.
CCCP 5C4M (5Ц4M) rectifier with the same base connection as 5Y3 / GZ34 / 5U4 series tubes. Many of these are marked as 5Y3GT, the glass dome is also of the same class.
In our own tests, these have worked fine in e.g. 5E3, Champ, Princeton and Deluxe reverb amplifiers.
Works in place of a 5Y3 tube, although gives slightly higher voltage than NOS (or JJ / TAD WGT) 5Y3s. For example, in a Champ, the difference is approx. 30V, i.e. 8%, so not very much.
The 5C4 series are made for military use and have generally been found to be very reliable tubes.

- Max current 415mA, maximum continuous 140mA
- Heaters: 5V, 1.8-2.2A
- Maximum voltage from the transformer 500V AC
