Type 7 plug - blue 2-pin DIN plug (also known from older speakers), at this point only used in vacuum tube pedals from Electro Harmonix powered by 12V AC. Available in 50cm length, this type 7 Flex cable is included in the box when buying an AC Rider power supply, which exactly has an outlet with 12V AC dedicated for this pedal type. Learn More
Split Flex gives you the possibility for connecting two pedals to the power supply using one outlet only. Two cables in lengths 30 and 50cm are connected to the plug on the power supply side. On the other end they are terminated with type 1 plugs - black 5.5/2.1 centre negative DC-plugs. Until the end of 2007 this Split Flex cable is available with straight (I-shape) DC-plugs, hereafter it will be sold with angled (L-shape) DC-plugs. Learn More
Stack Flex gives you the possibility of 'stacking'' two outlets on top of each other. By a series connection of the power supply's two outlets you'll end up with a higher voltage on the plug for your pedal. In the case of type 1 Stack Flex it's a black 5.5/2.1mm centre negative DC-plug. One of the power supply's two outlets used with the Stack Flex must be isolated. Learn More
Stack Flex gives you the possibility of 'stacking' two outlets on top of each other. By a series connection of the power supply's two outlets you'll end up with a higher voltage on the plug for your pedal. In the case of type 4 Stack Flex it's a green 5.5/2.5mm centre positive DC-plug. One of the power supply's two outlets used with the Stack Flex must be isolated. Learn More
Type 1 plug - black 5.5/2.1mm centre negative DC-plug, being the most common type, also called the BOSS standard. Available with angled plug (L-shaped) in 4 different lengths: 15, 30, 50 and 80cm and also in a straight version (I-shape) in 50cm length. Learn More
With Booster Flex it's easy to make 18V from a single 9V outlet. It's equipped with a step-up converter in the mould placed in the middle of the cable. When you connect the Booster Flex to a 9V outlet, you'll obtain 18V on the other end, which is a type 1 plug - a black 5.5/2.1mm centre negative DC-plug. The most common application is for 18V Wha pedals or the bigger MXR pedals needing 18V. Remember that the maximum current the Booster Flex can deliver is 50mA. Learn More
Translate Booster Flex raises the 9V voltage to 18V. Flex 4 connector (2.5mm positive center pin). Suitable for pedals requiring an 18 volt operating voltage, including EHX effects. Maximum input voltage of 12V which gives a 24V output voltage. Learn More
This Flex cable makes it possible to power three pedals using one outlet of the power supply. You need to make sure that the three pedals can all be powered by the same voltage and that they all use the most common 5.5/2.1mm centre negative DC-plug (BOSS standard). The good thing about this daisy chain cable is that you have more length in between the DC-plugs (30cm) which gives more design freedom when placing the effects on your pedal board. The first plug on the cable is 50cm from the power supply. Note: the daisy chain Flex cable has all three DC-plugs connected in parallel to the RCA plug which goes into the power supply’s outlet. To be on the safe side we recommend using the daisy chain Flex with analogue pedals only. This is to avoid a digital pedal introducing noise into your guitar signal when being powered in a parallel connection with a simple analogue pedal. Learn More
