CCCP 5C4S (5Ц4С) rectifier tube with the same base connection as the 5Y3 / GZ34 / 5U4 series tubes. These have even been faked as NOS GZ34 and also 5Y3GT.
In our own tests, these have lasted well in e.g. 5E3, Champ, Princeton and Deluxe reverb amplifiers.
Works in place of a 5Y3 tube, although gives slightly higher voltage than NOS (or JJ / TAD WGT) 5Y3s. For example, in Champ, the difference is approx. 30V, i.e. 8%, so not very much.
- The same tube pinout as in general 5Y3, GZ34, 5U4 rectifiers
- Max current 375mA, maximum continuous 125mA
- Heaters: 5V, 2A
- Maximum voltage from the transformer 500V AC
